I am Jinean Barnes a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in various areas in the medical field. In 2019 I received my Master of Science degree in Nursing from Medical University of South Carolina and completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
I am dedicated to providing care focused on evidenced-based practice to restore and maintain wellness of the whole body by educating and counseling patients and families while promoting health and disease prevention.
Joining the team of Danville Gastroenterology Center has allowed me to grow, sharpen my skills and knowledge as a provider.
As a young child, I knew I wanted to a nurse. Caring for others and nursing has always been my passion. I love spending time with family, friends, and my community. I also enjoy traveling, dancing, singing and walking my dog. I am compassionate about what I do and strive deliver quality patient care.
KENNETH HAWKER,
FNP
My name is Kenneth Hawker. I have been a Nurse for over 10 years. I knew when I started my career as a nurse I wanted to do more than work at the bed side. I advanced my education an obtained my MSN in Leadership and Management followed by my MSN as an FNP. Working at Danville Gastroenterology has allowed me to expand my knowledge in this area. My goal with every patient is to listen and treat them with the quality of care they deserve.
While nursing is a passion of mine I also enjoying spending time with my family. I enjoy taking family vacations, spending time with my pets, and living in the moment. I strive everyday to live by one of my favorite quotes ” Live Your Truth”.
